Vision

Devotion

“Write the vision, and make it plain upon tablets, so he may run that reads it.” (Habakkuk 2:2 NKJV)

Have you ever noticed that there are some people who accomplish more in a year than many people do in a lifetime? We often rationalize that these high achievers are lucky or more talented or just get more opportunities than the rest of us. However, studies have proven that none of that is true. The reality is that, more often than not, achievers have a clear, written vision for their lives. This clarity of vision enables them to focus their resources and energies, no matter how limited, on the activities that are consistent with their vision. Their vision gives them purpose and their purpose fuels their passion. Their passion translates into focused action. Their action results in accomplishments. One action they take early on is to write their vision down in concise, simple terms. They “make it plain upon tablets.” Then, they “run with it.”

God will give you a vision. That’s what He does.

Write it down. Run with it. That’s what you are to do.
